MAH-CET exam is conducted by DTE, the government of Maharashtra for getting admissions for MBA in the state. The test and the following admission process (CAP – Common Admission Process) is conducted by Maharashtra’s Directorate of Technical Education (DTE).MAH-CET is an online admission to accredited AICTE MMS courses. MAH MBA/MMS CET is held once a year, generally in the month of February or March. But due to covid, it is likely to be delayed this year.
According to the DTE website notification, 85 percent of the seats are allocated to government-run and funded MBA institutions in the state. A further 15 percent of the seats are filled by the entire Indian quota, which applies to students participating in nationally approved examinations, such as CAT conducted by IIMs, MAT conducted by AIMA, XAT conducted by XLRI, CMAT conducted by AICTE.

MAH-CET Exam Pattern:
MAH MBA / MMS CET consists of four parts, namely, Logic Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability / Reading Comprehension. There is a response to each question of the objective form that is posed, and the candidates must choose the correct answer from the choices made. The scoring scheme for MAH-CET would be where the candidate scores one mark for each correct answer. There is no negative marking scheme for MAH CET. Applicants have a great benefit of moving from one section to the other since there are no sectional time limits observed in the MAH CET exam format.
Quantitative Aptitude: This section has questions based on arithmetic problems involving ratio and proportion, percentage, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, higher maths, etc.
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: This section of Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension usually contains passages with questions to test candidates’ comprehension skills and reading skills. The verbal ability would be tested through questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms.

Logical/Abstract Reasoning: Tables, pie charts, visual reasoning, and verbal reasoning are the concepts which will be asked in this section.
