Recently IIM Ahmedabad completed its placement process for the 2018-20 batch. A total of 153 firms participated in the placement process and offered 182 roles to the students of the MBA batch. Top recruiters included McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group, and Tata Consultancy Services. McKinsey made the most number of offers to the students (27) followed by Boston Consulting Group (23).

IIM Calcutta placement process for the 2018-2020 MBA batch recorded an average salary offer of Rs 27.90 lakh per annum. The top 10% of the class bagged lucrative offers with a salary package of Rs 54.50 lakh per annum. The average package stood at Rs 41.80 lakh per annum while the median salary was Rs 25.50 lakh per annum. The highest salary offer stood at Rs 80 lakh per annum, which was made in Finance and Sales & Marketing. The General Management sector recorded the highest salary offer of Rs 50 lakh per annum.

The final placement session at Faculty Of Management Studies (FMS Delhi) concluded on a mixed note with 100% of students getting placed. While the average salary package for this season rose to  23.20 LPA from 21.1 LPA (last year), the highest package saw a dip as it has gone down to 48 LPA from 54 LPA. From a batch size of 216, 198 students participated in the placement process while the rest 18 preferred to sign out of the placement process. The achievement in FMS placement 2019 was the sharp rise in the average salary for women students as it went up at 25.10 LPA this year from 22.6 LPA last year.
