CMAT Strategy to crack Quants, DI & GK!
The CMAT Exam is a computer-based online entrance test with a duration of 180 minutes and 100 multiple choice questions with max marks of 400 spread across the following four sections. Incorrect answers will carry a penalty of 1 mark. The exam is conducted in a period of nine days in two shifts and the better of two scores will be used for the admission process.
CMAT Exam Pattern
- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation with 25 questions with max. marks of 100.
- Logical Reasoning with 25 questions with max. marks of 100.
- Language Comprehension with 25 questions with max. marks of 100.
- General awareness with 25 questions with max. marks of 100.
The online exam is conducted in two sessions i.e. from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm (Slot 1) and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm (Slot 2). The CMAT question paper contains 100 MCQs with four options each to choose the right answer from. Here is the CMAT exam pattern. Each section in CMAT consists of 25 questions of 4 marks each. There is negative marking so the candidate may answer the questions carefully. For each right answer, the candidate gets 4 marks and for each wrong, it gets 1 negative marks. There are no deductions for unanswered questions.
CMAT Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate should be an Indian citizen
- He/she should have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.
- Final Year Graduation students whos results will be announced before the admission process are also allowed
- Graduates with 50% in any discipline
- No age limit

Quants Paper Pattern:
- Number Systems (about 2-3 questions)

Data Interpretation is a process of understanding a collection of data that is in the forms of a line graph, bar graph, pie chart, tabular format, and various other formats. DI is a basic segment of relatively every competitive paper. DI isn’t as tough as Mathematics, as the assortment of questions asked is considerably lesser in DI thus making it easier to score.

- Questions on percentage change are very frequent. These questions can be solved on the basis of appropriation techniques rather to find an exact solution that may eat up the time.
