IIFT Admission 2022: Check Expected Exam Dates, likely Fee, New Campus Opening

IIFT aspirants, who are trying to find the IIFT entrance examination dates, number of seats in the IIFT MBA (IB) program, and key changes in its pattern are worried, as thus far neither NTA nor IIFT has notified any information and details about the IIFT MBA (IB) 2021 entrance examination. Earlier IIFT entrance examination and IIFT Admission notification wont to be released within the months of July-August with a complete schedule, but this year it’s been substantially delayed thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic.

IIFT MBA (IB) 2021 admission process is predicted to start shortly. NTA is probably going to conduct the IIFT 2021 admission test in a computer-based format within the last week of December.  IIFT proposes to launch its third campus in India at Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh) within the school term 2021-22 with an aim to form available IIFT management education in the southern part of the country also.

IIFT MBA (IB) Admission 2021: entrance examination Date: 
IIFT 2022 MBA (IB) Admission entrance examination is probably going to be held within the last week of December 2022. consistent with Prof Manoj Pant, Director, IIFT, “The IIFT entrance examination is probably going to be held, as in previous years, by the top of this year. As before, it’s expected that NTA will handle the doorway examinations.”

This is the second time that NTA is conducting the IIFT entrance test. The IIFT exam 2022 Registration & Application Fee is predicted to stay at Rs.2500/-. It must be paid online only. The IIFT Exam Registration process for MBA (IB) admission 2022 is often completed on the NTA IIFT website. The Registration process for the IIFT exam is predicted to start sometime within the month of November 2022.

IIFT Batch Size: Increases to 400+
During the past few years, IIFT has gradually increased its batch size. Since 2017, IIFT MBA (IB) Batch size has increased from 280 to 400+ students in 2021 at its Delhi and Kolkata campuses taken together. Sharing the rise in batch size despite constraints, Prof Pant says, “IIFT’s MBA(IB) is fully residential. Hence the intake of scholars is restricted by the capacity of the hostel both in Delhi and Kolkata. However, we’ve been increasing the number of admissions incrementally and have gone up from 280 in 2017 to about 404 today.”

Last year IIFT selected a complete 749 candidates for MBA (IB) admission at Delhi and Kolkata campuses out of which few opted for other institutes.

IIFT MBA (IB) Fee: No significant hike expected
The two years MBA (IB) 2022-24 batch fee may not change from last year’s fee. It is also possible that in case of any fee increase, IIFT may not charge it to the students. Presently IIFT has a fee structure of Rs.17,25,000 for two years.  Prof Pant said, “This call is only taken later on and not at this point. However, I expect the fees would remain unchanged except for a marginal increase, which IIFT may try and absorb.”

IIFT fee includes tuition fee, computer facility, internet, library, alumni, and IMF (student body) fee charges. The students of SC, ST, and PWD categories are given a 50% concession on tuition fees. Foreign Nationals and NRI Students will pay the annual tuition fee along with other charges in a single installment at the time of admission in the first year and by the start of the second year. Indian candidates can pay the annual tuition fee in three installments.
