BBA, Bachelor of Business Administration is the undergraduate course pursued by all those students who wish to take up business administration and commerce as their career. BBA is a four year long comprehensive course which has general business courses along with specialised high-level advanced study courses. BBA Entrance Exam:
There are various good colleges in India to pursue BBA, most of these colleges have entrance exams. The entrance exams are mostly conducted in the month of May or June every year.
Eligibility criteria:
The eligibility criteria are that aspirants should pass their intermediate or 10+2 exams with at least 45% or 50% marks (whichever is specified by the college or university in question).
Exam pattern and syllabus:
The exam is based on the following four sections
Numerical Ability and Quantitative Aptitude: Mixture or Allegations, Plane Geometry, Ratio and Proportion, Data Sufficiency, Mensuration, Data Interpretation HCF and LCM, Number System, Profit and Loss, Percentage, Time, Speed and Distance, Average, Time and Work, Simple Interest and Compound Interest.
English: Sequence of Sentences, Comprehension, Synonyms, Word Power, Fillers, Antonyms, Spelling Test, Cloze Test, Idioms and Phrases, One Word Substitution, Sentence Improvement, Common Errors, Direct and Indirect Speech, Active and Passive Voice
Logical Ability and Reasoning: Statement-Conclusions, Statement-Assumptions, Clock and Calendar Test, Strong and Weak Arguments, Image Test, Cube and Dice, Counting of Figures Test, Paper Cutting and Folding, Embedded Figures Test, Formatting of Figures Test, Completion of Figures Test, and Miscellaneous Test, Classification, Analogy Test, Coding-Decoding Test, Series Test, Sitting Arrangement Test, Alphabet Test, Direction Test, Comprehension of Ranks, Puzzle Test, Blood Relations Test, Mathematical Operations and Reasoning, Data Sufficiency Test, Venn Diagram Test, Input and Output Test, Decision Making, Syllogism.

BBA Entrance Exams
The BBA program is designed to provide the industry with young managers entry level positions for their first experience in a trade. This is a 3-year program. The curriculum currently under study offers students a choice of specialization in marketing and / or financial roles in the 3rd year of their program. Through a practical syllabus approach, guided by the faculty of industry itself, students are ready for the real world of business. Innovative teaching methods consisting of case study discussions, presentations, classroom debates and role plays are used to make the classroom experience invigorating.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the entrance exam is 10+2 appeared/cleared in 1st attempt, 50% aggregate, 60% in math/stats.
The application fee is Rs. 1800.
You have to answer 150 questions and the time provided is 120 mins. The 3 sections in the exam are characterized as Proficiency in English language, Quantitative and numerical ability, reasoning and general intelligence. Every correct answer gives you full marks but to every incorrect answer 1/4th of the marks is been deducted.
The exam is done within two hours and this is an objective type test, so you have to be quick. You must answer 120 multiple-choice questions, which corresponds to 360 points. The four sections of the examination are characterized by a quantifiable capacity, a cognitive and logical capacity, a general English and a professional and general awareness. Each correct answer gives you 3 points and a negative mark of 1 point for each incorrect answer.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the entrance exam is 10+2 appeared/cleared, 60% in 4 papers including English.
The Application fees are as follows: Rs. 1000 for General category candidates for all the programs, Rs. 800 for two programs and Rs. 600 for one program. For the reserved category (SC/ST/CW/PwD), the application fee is Rs. 500 for all programs, Rs. 400 two programs and Rs. 300, and one program.
The duration for SET is 150 minutes. Note that no extra time will be given for candidates who report late at the test centre. The SET is an objective test.
The SET is an aptitude test and is objective in nature. Each question presents four options as answers. There is no negative marking for wrong answers. All sections are mandatory.
It is conducted in two sessions for a total of FIVE question papers. A candidate has to choose and apply for one paper in each session.
The application fees are as follows: Rs. 1500 is the registration fee and for each college an additional of Rs. 1000 is to paid.
The admission procedure for the Five Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at IIM Indore has started with the registrations for IPM Aptitude Test (AT). The aspiring candidates can register for the test from March 16-April 16, 2016. The Computer Based Test for the course would be held in 28 cities across the nation on May 13, 2016. The candidates will be selected on the basis of overall performance in AT and Personal Interview.
The eligibility criteria to apply for the entrance exam is minimum 60% in standard 10th/SSC and standard 12th/HSC, minimum 20 years of age.
The application fees are as follows: Rs. 1400 for General and NC-OBC category, Rs. 700 for SC, ST and PWD/DA.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts its own entrance examination for admissions in its BBA course. If you are considering a career in administration and business, the BBA program at GGSIPU is one of the good courses to follow. The application process began on February 16, 2017, the last date of application for the test is April 18, 2017.
The entrance examination will take place in May 07, 2017 The candidate should have passed grade 12e of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% points in total and must also have passed English (principal or elective or functional) as a subject is eligible for GGSIPU CET BBA 2017. The age of the candidate should not exceed 21 years, as on August 1, 2017.
Applicants filling out the forms are required to pay Rs. 1000 / – as an application fee. The examination will be in paper mode (based on OMR). There will be 150 objective questions. The test method will be English only. Each question has 4 points, so the total is 600. For each incorrect answer marked by the candidates, 1 point will be deducted. GGSIPU CET BBA will be conducted in 15 cities across India. The result of GGSIPU CET BBA 2017 will be declared on May 23, 2017.
